Antique Row on Broadway should always the first stop on an antiquing adventure in Denver. There are stores on this stretch of Broadway that cater to almost every genre of antiques and collectibles alongside restaurants where you can refuel while you bargain hunt. The area spans seven blocks from Alameda Avenue to Evans. The buildings themselves are even vintage, having previously housed such businesses as the Ford Motor Company, Gates Rubber Factory and the Overland Park Race Track stables. There are more than 25 shops with just a couple of them listed individually below where you will find not only antiques, but also garden supplies, fine wine, handcrafted gift items, lighting and custom furniture makers.

Located on Antique Row, Turn of the Century Antiques sits in a unique faux painted building on Broadway that is packed from wall to wall with antique dolls, toys and stuffed animals. The collection of dolls here include French bisque, French fashion, China head, German Bisque, German Character, Madame Alexander and a Shirley Temple Collection. The shop’s website allows you to browse and purchase online if you live out of the area or wish to ship a gift to another location.

At 49,000 square feet, this antique hunting destination is a one-stop-shopping trip. More than 600 antique and vintage dealers are housed in this location off of Kipling and I-70. The Brass Armadillo has holiday specials, outdoor sales and special events throughout the year. You can even sign up for text message alerts so you will never miss a bargain. The hardest thing will be figuring out how to get there. Exit at either Kipling or Ward Road and then head to the frontage road. The Brass Armadillo is just West of Medved Chevrolet in Wheat Ridge.

Flossy’s is not technically an antique shop, but it should always be on your list when looking for vintage clothing, unique period costumes, antique collectibles, jewelry, shoes and other accessories. Some of the items here are re-productions, but many are authentic pieces sold to Flossy or donated by people cleaning out their cupboards. You can spend hours here going through this large and overstuffed store and you are guaranteed to have a good time while treasure hunting.
